Spring Wedding Flowers

By Eddie Tobey Spring is the most appropriate time for weddings. After the harsh winter months, the grass is greener, the flowers are blooming and warm wind is blowing. Popular spring colors are lavenders, baby blues, soft greens and pale yellows. Tulips and daffodils are the most popular choices for spring. Tulips come in all possible colors. Daffodils sunny colors blend with all color combinations. Other choices are sweet peas, magnolias, lilies, primroses, daisies, roses (pale colors), strawberry (fruit and leaves), lily of the valley, iris, pansy and hyacinth. Flowering trees offer more spring wedding flower choices. Crabapple and dogwood deck their branches with flowers. Even trees like apple, peach and orange have very dainty blossoms that bring a unique seasonal touch to any wedding. Budding trees and the knowledge that winter is over is the essential essence of spring. The flowers of spring can express the feeling of the coming of this blissful season. You may also consider silk wedding flowers for decking out your wedding. Silk wedding flowers are just as convincingly real as real flowers themselves. They are made of silk because silk is the fabric that most closely represents the look and behavior of the real thing. Silk wedding flowers range in price from lows to highs, but compared to the expense of real flowers, there's no noticable difference. Also consider buying your spring wedding flowers wholesale. Especially for large weddings, wholesale spring wedding flowers are a great value. This way, you will get a very large quantity of flowers for your wedding but for a percentage discount. Wedding Flowers provides detailed information on wedding flowers, fall wedding flowers, silk wedding flowers, spring wedding flowers and more. Wedding Flowers is affiliated with Cheap Mother's Day Flowers. Blind Dating - Before Going on your First Date

By Michael Douglas Consider this scenario! You meet a guy in an Internet chat room. You exchange a few text messages with him and both of you seem to hit it off instantly. In the days that follow you are spending a wholesome number of hours every day in chatting with him. You revel in his brilliant flair for conversation, which entices you to open up and discuss about the most intimate aspects of your life. One day, he sends you his photograph via e-mail. Suddenly, you have a face for the man with whom you have been chatting for so long. You find him good looking and that night when you go to bed you find yourself fantasising that he is in the same bed beside you. Next day, you select your best photograph and, without losing another moment, e-mail it to him. Things go on an overdrive after that, as he promptly e-mails back that he wants to meet you. You are eager to meet him too, yet suddenly the realisation dawns that you hardly know this guy. All you have about him is a photograph and the lines of text messages that you had exchanged for the past few weeks. Going out with him would be almost like going on a blind date. You have never been on a blind date before and you are naturally kind of nervous about going out with a stranger. After all, you are one those girls who consider themselves really picky when it comes to guys they date. You e-mail him a suitable excuse that you think might suffice to satisfy him. But he is insistent that he wants to meet you in person. The next email from him contains his mobile number and a note that says that he wants to talk to you. You hurriedly dial his number and hear his voice for the first time. His voice sounds reassuring and confident just like his text messages did. He assures you that the date he has in mind will be totally platonic. Nothing physical is about to happen! You laugh at the idea. But he has already made deep inroads into your heart and you are now about as eager to meet this guy, as he seems to be to meet you. The nagging possibility that this unknown stranger might even turn out to be the elusive lover you have always dreamed of has already taken hold of you. But even as your mind is agog with the possibilities, you are also being racked by some real defeatist thinking, "Sure, he seems charming, but all jerks sound charming on the phone." Before the phone conversation is over you have made an dinner date with him at a popular restaurant. Now there is no turning back, you are already committed to a date with a person who is almost a stranger to you. So how should you prepare for this blind date? Here are a few points that you should consider: 1) Location is of utmost importance. You have done the right thing by agreeing to meet him in a public restaurant where, if something gets wrong and your dream date turns into a nightmare, you will have the protection of the crowd around you. 2) Cash and credit cards. It may be the guy's task to pay, but the woman should not appear empty handed just in case. 3) Condoms for both men and women. Hey, he might have promised a platonic date. But you never know how things might progress once you and he get together. We are living in the modern age. Whatever your outlook to sex and relationships, it is always advisable to be prepared for any eventuality. 4) A smart woman should never leave her house without a mobile on her person and if she is going on a blind date, a mobile is of even greater importance. If something goes wrong, you can always summon help through your mobile. 5) As an added precaution you may ask your friend to call you about 45 minutes into the date. If things are going well, you can send the call to voice-mail. 6) Before leaving your home you need to make sure that you know the directions to the restaurant where you two are meeting. 7) A sense of honour. Okay it's not "a thing" but it is the one factor that ruins dates more than anything else, the inability to laugh and enjoy oneself. Going on a date in a bad mood is not going to make your guy feel special. 8) While taking all the precautions it is also essential that you avoid distrusting him completely. After all, people are innocent until proven guilty, so there is no need for you to take along an attitude that you blind date is going to be as bad as your ex-boyfriend. For best result you must take trust and doubt pragmatically. 9) Never forget that it was the personality that you displayed while chatting on the Internet that got him so enthused about you. Make sure that you haven't left your personality behind at home. Whilst first dates can be quite daunting for many, there is no excuse for forgetting yourself. 10) Never be on time or he will take you for granted. Being a lady it is your progressive to be 15-30 minutes late for the date. But at the same time you should make sure that you are not too late. That's about it! He meets you inside or outside the restaurant as you have arranged with him, and you get to make eye contact with your blind date. Once you are at a table in the restaurant you should relax, get a drink for both parties and settle down for some great conversation which, hopefully, will be as invigorating as the Internet chatting you two had indulged in. May be, you will find in him what you have always been looking for in a man. But if that happens to be the case you must exercise caution in the way you express your feelings for him. Men enjoy giving a chase. Apply every trick in the book to let him know that you are interested, but don't let him know for sure. Here are a few tips that you can incorporate to impress your man on your first date: 1) Display your personality in everything that you do during your date. For example, when it comes to food, go ahead and order what you truly want to eat. Don't let him order for you, make him feel that you are really in control. 2) Don't check out other men at the restaurant while you are dating this guy. Make sure that he is not checking out other women. 3) During conversation try to find out if he has any good platonic female friends. Men should be able to relate to women as friends, not just as sex objects. 4) Never rush to sex. This is the first date and if you give him what he wants on the first date itself, he might lose interest in you. Wait for few weeks - if not months - before bringing sex into your relationship. It is most important that you do it at the time of your own choosing and not of his choosing. 5) This is your first date with him, so it is always better to keep it brief. You want to have something to talk about the next time you get to meet him. 6) Don't tell him everything about yourself, eventually you may, but at the first date it is better to be a tad conservative in talking about your personal life and thoughts. Instead give him a chance to open up. All men like to talk about themselves and if you grant him that opportunity he will start worshipping the ground beneath your feet. 7) But if he talks too much about himself you may as well decide to avoid him in future. Talking too much about oneself is a sign of insecurity. 8) It is possible that he might be the man you would like to be married to, but never talk about marriage on your first date. 9) Flirt. A mild flirting is a good way to get him really interested in you. You may joke around with him, make lots of eye contact and may be touch him on the arm. But don't overdo the flirting routine. Try to keep it a little mysterious, not totally obvious. Never let him develop the notion that you are head over heels gaga over him. 10) But if you find that the guy is a loser and you want to get away from him then you could start talking about something really boring - like the configuration of your laptop. That will usually scare him off. 11) It is important that you should not be tense when you arrive for a tryst with your date. You should smile a lot and keep things fun and happy. Being confident and smiley will elicit a far more positive response. If he isn't the macho kind and you don't like him anyway, don't let that spoil your evening. You can still even have some affectionate fun with him - anything goes as long as it remains at a platonic level. If you do all the things right, there is no reason why you should not emerge a winner in all your relationships. Home Remedies: Hemorrhoids, Hangovers, Head lice

By Michael Russell Home remedies can often be substituted for other medications when the health or other problem is not too serious. Hemorrhoids Hemorrhoids are commonly known as piles. One of the treatments for this is an infusion of watercress which is applied externally as a lotion. Crushed fresh leaves of plantain are also applied externally on the affected area. A poultice or compress of witch hazel is also effective. One of the earliest cures for piles was yarrow, marigold and meadowsweet which was applied externally. With this condition, eating a good portion of carrots and oats is helpful. Another cure that is also recommended is eating a large leek and drinking a glass of nettle liquid several times a day. Halitosis Halitosis, or simply bad breath, could be a very embarrassing condition. Halitosis may be caused by some disorder of the stomach. To avoid this, a suggestion is taking a concoction of powdered vegetable charcoal and bicarbonate of soda. Other cures are avens, dill and peppermint. Chapped Hands Chapping of the hands can be caused by many things. It could be due to strong detergents and chemicals and the main cure for this is intensive moisturizing. A remedy that is effective for chapped hands is taking a piece of melted mutton fat then straining it and pouring it into a basin to harden. Before totally hardening, it is worked into a ball and then it is held before a fire until the surface begins to soften. The substance is then rubbed into the hands. The next traditional cure is a little more complicated. Unsalted hog's lard is washed in spring water and then in rose water. The lard is then mixed with honey and egg yolks then with fine oats and formed into a paste. This paste is rubbed into the hands. Hangover Hangovers can be very annoying and painful. Drinking a lot of water is said to be very effective in curing a hangover. Some would even recommend eating a beaten raw egg. Other traditional cures are eating raw cabbage and rosemary. Hay Fever Hay fever is one of the many types of allergic reactions. Thought to calm the symptoms of hay fever is clove tea. An infusion of plantain and of nettles can also be effective. A hot infusion of balm is also taken to soothe the sufferer. One traditional cure for hay fever is adding chamomile to boiling water and then inhaling the steam while boiling and another involves soaking elecampane in boiling water, straining it and drinking a glass at regular intervals until the symptoms subside. Head Lice Head lice are a condition that is very embarrassing and bothersome. It is also very easily transmitted. A common treatment is using cinnamon, applied externally, to wash away the head lice. Lice are also cured with the application of fresh parsley juice. Rosemary was also thought to be effective. A slightly smelly remedy that is also effective is mixing equal parts of kerosene and water and applying it to the hair as a lotion. Michael Russell Your Independent Herbal guide. How To Get Your Prospect To Take Action

By Lisa Packer Theres really only one thing that separates Image advertising from Direct Response. Image advertising just wants you to think about a product in a certain way. Direct Response wants you to do something about it. Now. Direct Response can be entertaining. It doesnt have to sound like a used car salesman on steroids. But it will have one element that sets it apart from its pretty cousin: A call to action. Without a call to action youve got to spend the big bucks to be effective. And even then, youll never know for sure. I mean, how do you measure an image? On the other hand, if you ask your prospect to do something, he either does it or he doesnt. Right away you know whether your moneys been wasted or not. But if you dont ask him to do anything, its a safe bet he wont. So get him off his rear and doing something. (After all, he cant reach his wallet if hes sitting on it!) Tell him to call now. Visit this website. Clip this coupon. Click here and Buy It Now! Of course, people dont take too kindly to being ordered around. So before you start issuing commands, you need to build your case. Youve got to make him WANT to take action. Youve got to tell him W-I-I-F-M: Whats In It For Me? Dont just list the features of you product or service. Tell him the wonderful things those features do for him. Tell him the benefits. Paint him a picture of how wonderful life will be, if only hell do the tiny little thing you are asking of him. Tell him all it takes is one simple phone call. Tell him the problem hes having can be solved with just a click of a mouse. Tell him he can have the widget of his dreams at a 20% discount if he tears out this coupon and brings it into the store today. And dont let Ill do it later even cross his mind. This is, after all, a very limited time offer. Isnt it? It better be! And there had better be a believable reason. Hurry, sale ends soon! isnt enough. An expiration date on the coupon is a good start. A limited supply helps. But a definite, set-in-stone date for a specific price increase is even better. He might get just a little nervous right about now. You are, after all, asking him to part with his money, and not really giving him time to think about it, either. So be sure you mention your money-back guarantee, or the fact that you wont give out his personal information, right beside your call to action. Make sure he knows that he has nothing to lose. Except, of course, this golden opportunity. All he has to do is act now. Since you put it to him this way, hes much more likely to do just that. Does your marketing forge an emotional connection with your prospects? It can. 7 Great Ways to Market Yourself and Your Business to Help Increase Sales

By Roger Boatwright Do you own a business and need ideas on how to market your products or services to your customers? Well, the one thing that every business owner needs to know is that in order to survive, you need customers willing to spend their hard earned money for your products or services. The only way to drive customers to your business is to market yourself and your business in a way that customers believe in you and willing to spend money. There are defiantly many ideas about marketing, but I have listed 7 great ways to help you get started. These are all intended to help drive up sales and therefore help make your business successful. 1. Persuade your customers to like you. People buy from people they like. You could tell them a joke, give them a compliment, give them a freebie, etc. For example, you could say, I see you are one of those rare entrepreneurs who have a killer instinct for success. 2. Express the same views as your target audience.
Bring up common likes and dislikes in your ad. This will create instant rapport with your audience. For example, you could say, You, like me, know its very important to find a good bargain. Another example, Both of us know that money doesnt grow on trees. 3. People want to gain pleasure. They may want to satisfy their appetite or sexual desires. This will make them feel more fulfilled. Tell your prospects how much pleasure your product or service will give them. For example, you could say, Our product will fulfill your cravings for rich, delicious chocolate. 4. Tell your prospects that your product has better safety features. People want to feel safe when they use your products. For example, you could say, Our product has tested safer than any other product in our category. Another example, Our product comes with a safety lock and switch. 5. Market yourself or your business as an expert.
Most people have been told throughout their lives to trust and respect the authoritative figures in society. For example, Our (topic) business has the largest selection in the world! Another example, Ive read over 200 books on Internet marketing! 6. Market your products or services to your target audience. For example, dont try to sell a football in a cooking magazine. If you really wanted to be creative though, you could sell a football in a cooking magazine. Just offer a free recipe book with each purchase. The person would think, I get the book and I will give the football to my son or husband. 7. People want to be popular. They may want to be a famous celebrity or be more popular in school. This will make them feel praised and admired. For example, you could allow people to submit articles or comments to your web site that you would publish for the world to see. You could also publish profiles or interviews with your web site visitors. Roger Boatwright has a Doctrine of Medicine and many years of internet marketing experience. Building A Better Brand in the New Year

By Glenn Ebersole The new year is well underway and many of us have been using the start of the new year to review, refine and/or restart various things in our businesses. For this article I want to concentrate on writing to encourage you to seize the opportunity to look at your branding for this year. First, lets define branding. Branding is the process of building a favorable image for a product or company that differentiates it, in the minds of prospects and end users, from other competitors. Secondly, I hope you will agree that branding is strategically important to you and your business. And thirdly, if you have not thought about branding, I hope this article will cause you to start thinking about it for you and your business. I suggest we employ some strategic thinking here. I want you to ask yourself some critical questions about your branding efforts last year and this year. Okay here are my questions to you. Did you consciously think about defining your brand at all? Did you consciously use any branding techniques last year? Did you set branding goals last year? If you did not set branding goals, why not? If you did set them, what did you achieve? Why did you achieve some goals, but not all goals? What were the lessons learned from your efforts? What will you do to change the outcomes of your efforts this year? Once you have answered these questions, the next steps will be to: Define your brand, if not already defined. Revise the definition of your brand if necessary. Set your branding goals for this year using your Strategic Plans vision, mission and core values as a guide. Break down each goal into individual tasks to achieve the goal. Assign due dates for each task. Monitor the timely completion of each task. Hold yourself and other leaders accountable for the completion of each task. Act on the above and you will be building a better brand in the new year. Teens and Cells

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Robyn_Abrames]Robyn Abrames Nearly half of the teens and tweens, 10-18 year olds, in the United States have a cell phone representing over $10 billion of the market according to a study released by the market research firm GfK NOP Technology. Numerous cellular companies are offering cell phones and plans for the younger market. Nearly all of the major carriers including T-Mobile, Cingular and Verizon offer text and pic messaging packages and downloadable games and ringtones, which are very popular with the young crowd. Recently new phones hit the scene, marketed to an even younger crowd. Firefly Mobile introduced its kid friendly pre-paid cellular phone with one touch mommy and daddy buttons earlier this year. Other companies such as Disney are expected to release cell phones marketed to kids and tweens as well. The teen and tween market is a critical one for wireless providers to capture, with 70% of its value coming from kids who spend more than $50 per month on their phone service, says Ben Rogers, Vice President, GfK NOP Technology. Clearly, the days when parents admonished their kids to use cell phones only for emergencies are over. Now, cell phones are a staple of teen and tween life, not only for calling friends and family but also for a range of other activities. More and more cool options are becoming available to the young crowd. Cingular just released its ROKR phone. The phone allows users to download iTunes and has regular phone functions. Websites such as [http://www.teencells.com]www.teencells.com features cheap cell phone plans, ringtones, and more all geared to the young market.
